With the lockout drawing to a close and the NHL season appearing on the horizon, we found ourselves with a neat opportunity this week that we’d love for you to take part in.

Today at 3 p.m. EST, myself, John Noon and Jake Goldsbie will be holding a Google+ Hangout with Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins. If you want Lucic to answer your question, please leave it below in the comment section, or you can tweet it using the hashtag #LucicHangout. Circle us here at theScore’s Google page here to make sure you don’t miss it.

This week the Backhand Shelf crew will be getting together twice for a Google+ Hangout. Today we’ll be talking about the draft, the recent trades, and all the other relevant NHL news, and we’ll be back for the second one on Friday.

So come on in and check it out: let’s talk hockey. (Hangout launches at 4 p.m. EST)

With the big free agency date of July 1st just around the corner, the Backhand Shelf crew thought it’d be a great time to get together and talk about who’s likely to sign where.

Join us below, and listen to Justin Bourne (that’s me), Rob Pizzo, Derek Snider, John Noon, Jackie Redmond, Mike Halford and Sean Leahy chat about Zach Parise, Ryan Suter and many others.
