Blake Griffin

Just when I think this franchise can’t get any lower, the Toronto Raptors create a new definition for rock-bottom. Last night, they visited the Oracle Arena in Oakland just so they could drop their shorts and unload a giant deuce on the hardwood. Teams must lick their lips when they know the Raptors are next on the schedule because of how easily they’ll be able to pad their stats. I’m not sure if anyone knows the record for most dunks in a game by one team, but the Clippers might break it tonight.

Injury report

Toronto: Andrea Bargnani and Reggie Evans are both out for tonight. Jose Calderon, Amir Johnson and Joey Dorsey will all be gametime decisions.

Los Angeles: DeAndre Jordan has pneumonia but he played against the Lakers last night.

One question

1. Do you agree that bringing back Jay Triano to coach the Raptors next season will be equivalent to spitting in the collective face of this team’s fanbase?

Start time: 10:30 PM ET
Channel: Sportsnet One
Probable starting lineups
Toronto: Jose Calderon, DeMar DeRozan, James Johnson, Ed Davis, Amir Johnson
Los Angeles: Mo Williams, Eric Gordon, Ryan Gomes, Blake Griffin, Chris Kaman

Tonight’s pregame song is a live performance of  “Guerilla Radio” by Rage Against the Machine from their Battle of Los Angeles album. If they ever release another album, it will almost make up for having to endure this Raptors season.
