Start time: 8:00 PM ET
Channel: Sportsnet One
Probable starting lineups
Toronto: Ben Uzoh, DeMar DeRozan, Alan Anderson, Amir Johnson, Aaron Gray
Milwaukee: Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis, Luc Mbah a Moute, Ersan Ilyasova, Drew Gooden
Toronto: Jose Calderon probably won’t play tonight, while Andrea Bargnani and Jerryd Bayless are out for the season.
Milwaukee: Carlos Delfino will be a game-time decision with a groin injury, while Larry Sanders is out due to suspension and Kwame Brown is out for the season.
Two more games. Two more games to evaluate the NBA-worthiness of Solomon Alabi. Two more games to determine if Gary Forbes is the Raptors’ starting small forward of the future. Two more games until we know how many lottery balls will have in the upcoming draft lottery. That isn’t a lot of time to answer such monumental questions, is it?
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks need to win their final three regular season games and the 76ers have to lose their final three if the Bucks are going to squeak into the final playoff seed in the East. Unlikely? Of course. But if the Bucks win tonight and then beat the Sixers on Wednesday, they’ll face a Celtics squad on Thursday who might rest some of their starters since they already have the fourth seed locked up. The Sixers close out the season against the Nets, Bucks and Pistons so… yeah, we can pretty much close the books on that race.
If you didn’t read it already, I wrote about Metta World Peace’s “elbow heard ’round the world” for TBJ yesterday.
