I’ve mentioned before how insanely creative theScore’s social media team is, and I’m about to show you another glowing example of that creativity.

First there was Ray Allen and Denzel Washington in the basketball cult classic “He Got Game.” Now meet the cast of the sequel (not really):

Remember when it was kind of assumed that once Valanciunas actually got over here, the hype would die down a bit as he slowly adjusted to the NBA game? Well in addition to this masterpiece on Friday, the Lithuanian phenom’s name came up elsewhere on the world wide web, with ESPN’s Tom Haberstroh raving about Valanciunas in his 10 Storylines To Watch In 2012-13 under the heading “Remember the name (and the pronunciation, too): Jonas Valanciunas.”

The Raptors are still far from a return to NBA respectability and relevance, but if Valanciunas develops adequately and up to his tantalizing potential, the respect and relevance will surely follow.
