Andrea Bargnani played in just 31 of the team’s 66 games. This season, Bargnani and Jonas Valanciunas have been the starting frontcourt for all nine Raptors games and the team’s Defensive Rating has dropped to 26th while their opponents’ eFG% is up to .511.
- In six previous seasons, J.J. Redick never averaged more than 11.6 points per game or shot better than .444 from the field in a particular season. So far this season, he’s averaging 15.8 points per game and shooting .489 from the field.
- The Magic swept the season series against the Raptors last season, ending with a 117-101 win on March 26 at the Air Canada Centre. Three of Orlando’s starters from that game — Dwight Howard, Ryan Anderson and Jason Richardson — are no longer with the team.
