The only way out of the current very bad situation is through the DRAFT–the best teams have gotten good picks and used them wisely (not so the Raptors except for Carter and Bosh)—-BC along with previous GM’s have carelessly traded away draft picks and either have bad luck (first in terrible year–#8 in a strong 7 man draft) or poor draft choices –most years. If they had drafted properly and kept their picks or gotten decent compensation for them they would be a certain playoff team–look around the league at former Raptors or missed picks–they keep trying to go for men who can’t jump or shoot.
It’s a point guard and small forward league now–and we are woefuuly weak in those key positions. Trade whoever you can for draft picks ( we have enough retreads) and rebuild.
