Here are some thoughts on the game…
The Raptors might be 3-0 against the Magic this season, but they sport a woeful 4-18 record on the road…
Start time: 7:00 PM ET
Channel: TSN
Probable starting lineups
Toronto: Jose Calderon, DeMar DeRozan, Landry Fields, Ed Davis, Amir Johnson
Orlando: Jameer Nelson, JJ Redick, Arron Afflalo, Glen Davis, Nikola Vucevic
Injury report
Toronto: Andrea Bargnani, Linas Kleiza and Jonas Valanciunas are out. Mickael Pietrus is questionable
Orlando: No injuries to report
Random Thoughts:
-Andrea Bargnani was putting up “some different types of shots” before tonight’s game. Based on Dwane Casey’s comments, it seems AB will come off the bench when he returns – rightfully so. If he doesn’t thrive in that role and perhaps even if he does, there is a good chance Bryan Colangelo will try to move the much maligned, former first overall pick.
-Whoever is being defended by JJ Redick (Landry Fields or DeMar DeRozan) should have an advantage in the post and it would benefit Toronto to get Redick off the floor. He is the catalyst for a lot of Orlando’s offensive sets.
-Orlando might have an advantage on the glass, as Glen Davis and Nikola Vucevic are listed as being 88 pounds heavier than Amir Johnson and Ed Davis combined.
The Raptors cruised past the Magic in Orlando to close the 2012 portion of their schedule with back-to-back road wins and seven wins in their last eight games overall.
Here are some thoughts on the game:
The Raptors are looking for their 7th win in 8 games tonight in Orlando. These two teams met just 8 days ago with Toronto prevailing 93-90.
