After Rodrigue Beaubois tweaked an ankle and had a game he’d rather forget against John Wall in an anticipated match up of the speedy guards, the boxscore that was handed to me by summer league staffers was fitting:

  1. I think a lot of people will consider this post pointless, but I think it’s cute.

I guess Jeremy Lin’s 9 point fourth quarter barrage did something to the printers =)

  2. Is that what John Walls FG and FGA categories looked like? I am pretty sure Jones and Lin guarded Wall most of the game.

  3. Lin has a lot of hustle and pretty good defender. He’s going to find his way into the NBA.

  4. Josh, after the game Wall was really disappointed in his shot selection, but despite the 4-for-19 night, still ended up at the line 15 times for 21 points to go with his seven rebounds and 10 assists. Jones did a fantastic job on him, making every shot a difficult one.

Lin proved he can ball and I’m sure he’ll get a camp invite and would love to see him on someone’s roster as a back up. Guy just finds a way to get to the rim.
