It is very surprising when you’re dying to see a video and it isn’t on the Internet. Off the top of my head, I can only remember one such instance in my life — my all-time favorite Saturday Night Live sketch (“Luxury Spy”) which wasn’t online until earlier this year. But now, I can watch that whenever I want because the Internet has everything.

Or so it would seem.

I’ve found a new Holy Grail — a must-see video that does not yet exist but needs to. From a FanHouse profile on new best friends Rudy Fernandez and Patty Mills:

When they’re not bowling or channel-surfing at Mills’ apartment, they’re taking their singing talents to the local bar for some good, old-fashioned karaoke. It’s a scene that is begging for a Twitvid (both players are active Twitter users), with no musical genre off limits and certainly no attempt to hide their thick accents.

“We love doing that,” Mills said with a proud laugh. “He’s gotten me into Spanish songs. I’m about to download them on my iPod. There’s no shame in my game. I’m out there doing it, and he has that flair, just being the typical Spanish guy who everyone loves.”

Frankly, I am shocked that Rudy Fernandez and Patty Mills singing pop songs in foreign accents isn’t all over YouTube already. This is the 21st century, where people have video cameras on their phone and can post videos almost as they happen. The fact that this hasn’t yet turned up is truly unfortunate and most be remedied as soon as possible.

Get on it, Internet.
