Join The Jones on a sonic journey as we welcome Shoals from FreeDarko and new TBJ bro Trey Kerby. Shoals fields questions about the second FD book, “The Undisputed Guide to Pro Basketball History” and ponders whether your balls get wider or taller as you approach the speed of light; Kerbz hits us with a few of the week’s quirkier NBA stories, including LeBron and Wade’s new commercials and Brad Miller’s camo-look.
So give your eyes a rest and embrace this audio explosion.

I think there is something wrong with the mp3 file
I know exactly what you’re talking about. It’s when I referred to Lombard as “The Lilac City” when it’s really “The Lilac Village.” My bad.
I like Renee Paquette as the intro. So pumped to hear some “Dirty Talk” again. And someone please rip TBJ show, so us non-Canadians can see it.
Freedarko sounds as rambling and esoteric as his writing.
Guys/girls — If you’re enjoying the return of The Jones (both “The Fix” and “The Overdose”), please do us a favor by jumping over to our iTunes pages and leaving us a review. They really help with our iTunes rankings. Cheers.
I’ll tell you what man, LeBron driving by and then seeing the large banner drop is a pretty intense scene in that commercial.
“I witnessed no championships” would have been a great sign for when LeBron came to Cleveland. Having it in Philly really makes no sense at all. Great idea, poor execution.
Ah it’s great to have you guys back…. Here’s to another great year of NBA and TBJ.
I’m still laughing at Shoals’ evolved washing machine line.
Shoals certainly has a habit of examining his own phrases even as he’s saying them. His ability to ramble is quite amazing and entertaining.

Apparently it is only Ray Combs who committed suicide as a previous Family Feud host.
Question: Will we get a daily show on Fridays in the future or will the overdose replace Friday’s daily show permanently?
Will the overdose be showing up in the video feed in iTunes? This weeks has not yet.
Hey Ryan, we’re having some issues putting it up in the video feed. Hopefully we can get it fixed for next week.
Nice pronunciation of “drama,” Canadian.
@skeets, left TBJ this flowery review on the bloated piece of unavoidable-ware that is iTunes:
The best coverage of the NBA from the fans’ perspective
To most NBA junkies online, a daily ritual. To all the NBA sports-bloggers out there, TBJ is the holy grail. Their pioneering and unique show includes hilarious viral videos, knowledgeable and biased analysis and general Canadian goofiness.
Meant to say ‘unbiased’, Freudian slip perhaps?
Showed up today in the iTunes video feed. Thanks Tas for the follow up!
