Like, very badly. Like, misses everything badly. Like, “I haven’t played competitive basketball for a long time” badly. Like, well, you get the point.
Then again, aside from a similarly airballed three-pointer which isn’t as embarrassing because it’s way further and people are actually guarding you, this was the worst part of what was — by most accounts — a successful D-League debut for the troubled former star. Sure, it’s only the D-League and he’s a former All-Star, but it’s a step back towards the NBA.
The next step, naturally, is drawing iron.
