There are a lot of games tonight and I’m in a hurry to go buy a ton of candy to put in stockings, so let’s do this with the “because method,” which is so popular among people trying to bang out a post. Trust me, it’ll be great.

Oklahoma City Thunder at New York Knicks
Because this is the best game of the night and orange and blue is a very attractive color combination. Also because there are some seriously good dunkers and shooters in this game.

Denver Nuggets at San Antonio Spurs
Because if the Spurs win it’ll be their second double-digit win streak of the season, which is pretty impressive.

Houston Rockets at Los Angeles Clippers
Because even though these two teams are terrible, they both score a lot and have at least one guy who is endlessly entertaining to watch.

Utah Jazz at Minnesota Timberwolves
Because it’s conceivable that the Jazz could hang 150 on the T-Wolves, given the right set of circumstances. Circumstances, it should be mentioned, which would include 140-ish points from Minnesota.

Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics
Because it’s conceivable that the 76ers could score in the 60s against the league’s best defensive team.
