Are you guys ready for some basketball? This guy is.

New York Knicks at Portland Trail Blazers
As this is the only game of the night that features two teams with winning records, it’s your default No. 1 choice for game of the night. And hey, their first matchup this year was a fun, close game. Let’s hope for the same tonight, because the rest of the schedule ain’t too exciting.

San Antonio Spurs at Minnesota Timberwolves
The Spurs are middle of the pack in pace now, but they’re more than willing to play fast against a team that plays fast. Considering the Timberwolves play the fastest basketball in the league, I’d say that’s a good sign.

Milwaukee Bucks at Atlanta Hawks
For whatever reason, these two teams always seem to play entertaining games against each other. Maybe it’s because they both play decent to good defense while usually trying hard. Weird how that works.

Phoenix Suns at Denver Nuggets
Kind of the opposite of Bucks/Hawks from the good defense/trying hard standpoint. You really never know what you’re getting from either of these teams right now, but at their peaks, this would be awesome. Considering the game’s in Denver — where the Nuggets are always more entertaining — that’s not a crazy wish.

Indiana Pacers at Philadelphia 76ers
Dunno. Feels like this could be a sleeper game where both teams just decide to score a billion points and make a bunch of shots. Could be wrong, but it wouldn’t be the first time.
