The Indiana Pacers may have allowed Blake Griffin to score 47 points on 24 shots, but they only let him dunk once. That’s commendable, especially since it wasn’t on anybody. Sure, he made every other kind of two-point shot imaginable, but just the single dunk in 19 made shots. In all this point scoring craziness, that might be the most surprising part.
Amazing, amazing performance even if Blake did break character and half-smile there after that and-one at the 1:30 mark. I guess he earned it.
WOW………….
I love how he follows his shots, always being in position for an offensive rebound if he misses. Great fundamentals
Fantastic array of moves. Blake is amazing, honestly. However, he’s not a rookie. He missed his first season due to injuries, as everyone knows. Which makes him a sophomore, not a rookie. You can’t just eliminate a whole year, even though he did not play. Yes he’s a spectacular player, but he cannot be looked at as rookie of the year.
Sophomore of the year, yes.
you’re wrong. That’s how they classify rookies, their first season of actual games played.
Therefore Bg will win rookie of the year award.

you have to at LEAST play one game as a rookie to be considered a sophomore. Blake played 0 games last season JUST LIKE ALL OTHER ROOKIES OF THIS YEAR.
get your facts straight, your terrible at NBA facts…learn some more please. k thnks.
Just playin devils advocate, BG should be rookie of the year but he did have an advantage over the other rookies just by gettin an extra year of NBA coaching, sitting in on practices, watching games from the bench, touring with the team… etc… He still would of been rookie of the year last year tho if he did play
@nbaknowitall, bodhi
Fair enough reasons to counter my point. I’m just saying the league needs to look at changing this policy. Yes, he played 0 games, as nbaknowitall so eloquently put it, but he was with the team all year, got paid, and played in pre-season, but didn’t play any regular season games. Yes, by the NBA definition he is a rookie, but it’s clear he’s not at all. He’s been on the books since 2009-2010, so in my (crazy) mind, he’s a sophomore.
I gotta go against the grain sometimes…
