Chicago Bulls 105, Washington Wizards 77
You know things are going your way when Brian Scalabrine hits a 19-foot banker while his name is being chanted on the road. You know things are really going your way when it’s a catch-and-shoot in the mold of Kobe Bryant’s one-legged fadeaways.

Phoenix Suns 104, New Jersey Nets 103 OT
I guess Channing Frye is the new go-to game-winning shotmaker/hyphen lover. Two straight nights with two straight game-winners, which is something that hasn’t been done since some other time. Wonder if he prayed before this one too.

Boston Celtics 107, Utah Jazz 102
All five Celtics starters were in double-digits, four of the Jazz starters were and the other guy was Raja Bell. So yeah, pretty fun game. Good win for the Celtics.

Denver Nuggets 100, Atlanta Hawks 90
Since the Carmelo Anthony trade, the Nuggets are 3-1 with their only loss being a one-point overtime defeat. Clearly, this means they should have traded Carmelo earlier because then they’d finish this season with at least 61 wins. I mathed it, so you can be sure that’s the truth.

Sacramento Kings 105, Los Angeles Clippers 99
29 points in 27 minutes off the bench for Marcus Thornton in his home debut for the Kings, which just so happened to be a sellout. Who knew there were so many Marcus Thornton fans in Sacramento?
