There are seven games happening tonight, which is a perfect number. Not too few, not too many. And considering there is no NCAA tournament going on, you have no excuse to not watch. Unless, of course, you do have an excuse.
Boston Celtics at New York Knicks
The Knicks really need to prove that they’re a serious team, because it’s starting to look like they aren’t. Too bad for them they have to try to do so against the first place team in their conference. However, their last matchup — pre-Carmelo, mind you — was one of the best games of the year. More of that, please.
Utah Jazz at Memphis Grizzlies
If the Grizzlies win this game, I think it’s safe to call the Jazz out of the playoff picture. They’d be three games back of the eight spot with 11 games left. Plus, they kinda stink now.
Indiana Pacers at New Jersey Nets
Every game is important for the Pacers, who are in the eight playoff spot in the East by just a half-game. However, this game is even more important because it’s against a bad team. Considering their last three games are against playoff teams, they need all the wins they can get.
Sacramento Kings at Chicago Bulls
Remember that time the Bulls blew a 35-point lead? That was this game, at home against the Kings. Here’s hoping for something that exciting, yet far more enjoyable for us Bulls fans.
Toronto Raptors at Denver Nuggets
The Raptors have a chance to get their first three game winning streak since November. If that’s not must-see TV, I don’t know what is.
