I don’t profess to know the minute details of each and every play of Doc Rivers’ playing career, but as far as I can remember, he was never the kind of guy to throw himself a lob off the floor and windmill it home. I’ll check with “The Hitman” Bill Hitt to make sure, but I think that’s a fair assessment. Ergo, I think it’s pretty nice of his son, Austin, to show that jersey what it means to really dunk. As a high schooler. Nice.

Next up, putting on one of Doc’s suits and doing the same thing. So meta.

  1. For my own selfish reasons I hope Austin doesn’t stay long in college, and we get to see him play in the league much sooner than later :)))
