Here it is, the very first episode of LeBron James’ animated series, “The LeBrons.” It features tons of animated product placement, a “Reservoir Dogs” homage and LeBron voicing the one character on the show who initially supports a lion killing a dog. It’s as weird as it sounds.
Maybe even weirder, when you consider this is ostensibly a “socially-conscious” series for kids and the moral of this episode seems to be that it is not nice to hire a hit man. That’s true, but it’s kind of a weird message.

This was so weird. It was pointed out on Twitter, but it’s interesting how “athlete LeBron” has only a couple of lines, none involving any thought.
I am looking forward to next week’s episode, where we learn that no feat, however dangerous, should stand in the way of buddying up with China.
gee i wonder why comments have been disabled on youtube.
I can’t even view this in Canada, but it sounds like I’m not missing much.
Perfect timing. It is 2006, right?
It’s cool that Lebron and Maverick Carter thought this was a good idea.
You guys are based in Toronto, so how did you play the video because when I go to play it it says that it’s not viewable in my country. While it doesn’t sound like I’m missing much, I would still like to see it.
