Well, I guess we’re not going to get drama every night, are we? On today’s NBA Playoff Fix, Skeets and Tas weigh in on last night’s three mediocre games: the Hawks-Magic, Pacers-Bulls and Hornets-Lakers. Talking points include: Atlanta’s apathetic play and comments, Orlando pushin’ the pace, Rose’s 3Q run, Granger calling Noah a “dirty player,” the Lakers’ Killah B’s unit, Kobe’s ankle, and more.

  1. I didn’t do Van Gundy’s press conference any justice. Here it is: http://youtu.be/65xarpYPgvw

  2. Definitely in favour of a new feature where “Hey, Hey, Hey, Goodbye” chants are reviewed like bottles of wine: “Good unison; strong volume; a husky, fruity aftertaste…”

  3. We’re gonna miss Stan next year.

    Scoremobile is addictive.

  4. Sorry about the push alert problems – we’ll get those fixed up.

  5. On the Hawks-Magic game, it wasn’t just what Skeets mentioned about the offense. When Dwight went out with 2 fouls, the Hawks relaxed defensively like the game was over. It let the Magic players have the opportunity to get into the grove and feel good about themselves. Losing game 5 didn’t surprise me, but giving the Magic so much life and confidence was unfortunate (very freaking unfortunate).

  6. Yes, Noah is very much like KG. This is why it surprises me when he goes on the radio and talks about KG the way he does. Seems to me like he plays a similar role on the court. I’m sure I’d love him if he were a Celtic.

Bulls especially need more from Boozer, or there’s no way they beat the winner of Boston/Miami.
