Oklahoma City Thunder 105, Memphis Grizzlies 90
Not only does this series feel like it started in 1904, this game also feels like it happened WAY longer ago than yesterday. Nonetheless, pretty nice performance for the Thunders main Thunderers — a triple-dub-dawg for Russell Westbrook and 39 points on 25 shots for Kevin Durant. Now they face the Mavericks, who haven’t played since May 8. Old teams often look super old after a long layoff, so going seven against the Grizzlies might work out well for OKC.

Chicago Bulls 103, Miami Heat 82
Just about a perfect game for Los Bulls, who held Dwyane Wade and LeBron James to a combined 33 points on 12-27 shooting and forced the pair in to eight turnovers. That combination of defense, bench play (28-15 scoring advantage) and timely runs (10-0 in the third) is exactly how the Bulls pulled off their most impressive wins all season. Well, that and Derrick Rose, duh. 28 points on 10-22 shooting for the MVP, who also had six assists and four turnsies. So, still some room for improvement, I suppose.

  1. Perfect game? Not really, they alowed the Heat to shoot 47% while they shot under 44%. For a team that often allows less than 40% shooting, there’s a lot of room for improvement.
