Vintage Shawn Marion right there, appearing out of nowhere to make a defensive play that almost immediately leads to a dunk. He did that a billion times (literally, I checked) in Phoenix, so it’s pretty chill to see him do the same sort of thing on a huge stage five years after his last appearance in the Western Conference finals.

As you can imagine, he was pretty happy about it. Just look at his face.

It’s impossible to know for sure, but I’d bet $70 he’s saying, “Yeah!” while that is happening, like he’s in an episode of “Hang Time” that will end with a freeze frame of this dunk. It’s either that or “I’m dunking,” but that seems a little too matter-of-fact.

  1. That play was awesome, but if that’s LBJ nstead of the Durantula it’s a block, fair warning, Matrix.

  2. Hah, I just love the way that Jason Terry used his “Jet” celebration to keep Durant from reaching The Matrix. Very nice…
