Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki in the 2006 NBA Finals

Every Friday for the remainder of the NBA playoffs, I’m going to collect numbers that I think you might find interesting and post them without commentary. Inspired by the monthly “Harper’s Index” that Harper’s Magazine has published since 1984, these posts will hopefully enlighten, surprise, entertain and occasionally inflame you. When deemed necessary, I’ll include links to the source material. Note: One of the stats in each post will be made up — click on the source links to discover which one is fake.

  1. Dirk and Terry, Wade and Haslem

    …. AND Ericka Dampier!!!

Has his time come? Anyways there are five players in these finals that have been there before in 2006…

  2. I think Noah deserves some credit for #5!

  3. Martin: Good catch. I missed Dampier because he has yet to play in this post-season. I’ve made the correction.

  4. - Team fouls to give for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2011 NBA Finals – 0*
