After being eliminated by the Mavericks, Kevin Durant elaborated upon his summer plans. From the Boston Globe:
“I could get stronger and go from there,’’ he said. “I realize I’m not going to be 250 and cut up, but I could get stronger. I have a lot to work on, and it might sound crazy, but I’m ready to get to work now.’’
Meanwhile, Kendrick Perkins plans on doing this. From the Oklahoman:
Perkins wants to show up for training camp at 265 pounds, 20 pounds lighter than he is now. He’s hired a nutritionist and is planning to get to work right away, spending most of his time working out in Houston with former coach John Lucas II.
The solution is obvious.
