“I had to get a moment. I was crying a bit. I was a little emotional. … I actually didn’t want to come out for the trophy, but the guys talked me into it.” — Dirk Nowitzki, 2011 NBA Finals MVP

  1. I bet all the guys from the Chris Bosh video are totally gonna beat this wimp up. Here’s a wedgie for all those emotions, softy.

  2. Just like TBJ made a video of Tas picking against Boston last year, I think we need one of TBJ picking against the Mavs each series this year, even though I didn’t disagree with them.

  3. J.A. Adande asks the best post-game questions.

  4. Yeah this was sort of a weird moment. Don’t think I’ve seen that reaction to a championship win before – but it’s pretty fitting for a guy like Dirk.

I also wanted to say it’s good to see TBJ doing so well. I stopped listening / watching maybe 2 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see that you guys are now with The Score! (could it be? maybe there’s hope for MSM coverage of basketball in Canada after all! … nah) Looks like you’ve continued to make strides, as you have since the days of recording over Skype. Kudos to you.

  5. Seeing Bosh cry brought out joy in me, not because I hate him for leaving for this great opportunity to bring his talents to south beach, but because it affirmed Keving Durant’s comments about him being a fake tough guy. Ever since he joined the heat, heat he some weird notion that he such flex his muscles when he dunks and trash talks. WHo deos that, then cries.I’ve never seen a faker tough guy in my life. I wish him well for his BIG opportunity, but I will always hate him for the way he left….asking twitter where he should go? That was him trying to make his own “The Decision” but nobody cared. He left the raps hanging ’til the last second and never gave the franchise a chance to get anything in return. That is the reason raps fans hate him, he set the franchise back years after we attempted to build around him! He truly is a loser, and this crying episode proves it.
