Andrei Kirilenko threw one of my favorite passes ever, way back in his first summer league game as a rookie in 1999. He drove in from the right wing, angled left and found a guy cutting from the right corner by throwing a two-handed backwards over-the-head pass that also went over his defender, who happened to be between him and the guy he passed to. It was awesome and kind of hard to explain, but I’ll demonstrate it for you if we meet.

Because YouTube didn’t exist yet, that pass has been lost for all future generations, who I am sure are very sad about that. Instead, they’ll just have to accept this beauty.

Fair trade.
