Ballin: Dwight Howard had 45 points and 23 rebounds against the Warriors. Probably because the best post defender in the league, Kwame Brown, is out with injury.

Not so much: Due to injury and foul trouble, Iman Shumpert took more shots (20) than Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire combined (18). He made five of them.

Good form: Markieff Morris is fourth in the league in three-point percentage because of great shots like this.

Only counts if he called it.

Chill, bro: Antawn Jamison took nine shots in the first eight minutes of last night’s game against the Suns. Feels like too many, too fast. Might tear an elbow ligament.

Please also chill, bro: Semih Erden fouled out in just 12 minutes of play. He’s currently averaging 11.6 fouls per 36 minutes.

Welcome back: 12 points in 19 minutes for Michael Redd, because anyone who sets foot in the Phoenix Suns’ practice facility is immediately healed.

Nice work: The Bucks and Pistons combined to shoot 41 free throws last night. They combined to miss zero. Somewhere in northern California, Rick Barry got a boner.

It’s t-shirt time: Vinny from “Jersey Shore” really wants in the All-Star Celebrity Game.

Vinny, you’re the best bro on J-Shore, but no one should want in the All-Star Celebrity Game enough to make a campaign tape. Nice shooting though. And nice fauxhawk.

Noice: Greg Monroe when for 32 and 16, took only 16 shots and added two steals and a block. That’s exactly why Eric Koreen drafted him in the third round of our fantasy league.

Uh-oh: Carmelo Anthony rolled his ankle and didn’t return. But hey, that’s what Renaldo Balkman is for.

Other things: Did you know that Robin Lopez (middle name: Byron) was named after Byron Scott? Now you do and you’ll never forget … Al Horford and Kwame Brown are both out for the season because they have torn pectoral muscles from too much making them dance on the beach … Derrick Favors has played 216 minutes this season and has zero assists. That’s more than twice as many minutes played as the next guy on the list who hasn’t recorded an assist this season

  1. But, wait… don’t you have to be a celebrity to be in the All-Star Celebrity Game?

  2. Boy, Derrick’s doing his teammates no favors!

  3. Re: Chill, bro! – Trey, I missed a comment of yours on the Miami Heat intro this season. I mean, just chill out, Juwan Howard!

  4. Derrick Favors is a poor man’s Yinka Dare. R.I.P. Yinka…

And that Vinny guy has no business being in a game with NBA players. Judging by the video, he doesn’t even know how to travel. Lebron would crab-dribble right past his sorry ass all day.

  5. I was sure Nick Young was going to be the one behind Favors on that list.

  6. Favors has passed the ball several times for assists this season… his teammates just aren’t hitting their shots, or will make the extra pass.
