If you’re going to tank away the end of your season in order to keep your draft pick in a great draft — and that’s what the Warriors are doing, losing nine of their last 10 and 25 of 35 since the All-Star break — then you have to constantly find new ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. If you get blown out all the time, David Stern might get suspicious.

So kudos to the Warriors for turning a tie game with 12 seconds remaining and the ball in to a 2-point defeat, at home to boot. It’s not easy to lose in that situation, but you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

  1. BLOWN CALL! Nice job ref. I am reminded of another California champion by the name of Hulk Hogan who was robbed of the belt by the ref Earl Hebner as Andre the giant supposedly pinned Hogan. Garbage! He was so not pinned.
Similarly, this ref just stole the Warriors’ season. The NBA is fixed.

  2. And here I was worried, as a warriors fan, that they’d actually close a close game out. Well DUH, why would I have even thought that?

  3. The best part is that the fans cheered HARD for the goaltend and then when the final buzzer went off the people at Oracle shot confetti up in the air for the loss hahahaha…. GO WARRIORS! #TankCityBitch

  4. @ bruce. blown call? you can’t be serious. goaltend, clear as day.

  5. I love my team. Go Warriors!
