On today’s playoff edition of “The Fix,” Skeets and Tas discuss Game 1 of the Thunder-Spurs Western Conference Finals. Topics discussed include: “The Poo God” Manu Ginobili, the Spurs second line of defense, Tiago Splitter’s big fourth quarter, Capt. Jack vs. KD, and whether Scotty Brooks needs to go with Ibaka over Perkins. All that, plus international marine flags, hipster glasses, and some Celtics-Heat ECF predictions.

  1. Taking a day off for Victoria day but working through Memorial day….

Your America card, turn it in Trey :(

  2. thx for the shout out, for us europeans…

  3. yup, be sure you guys have fans throughout europe. I’m from portugal and our basketball league is pitiful but we still love good basketball!
    keep up the good work

  4. My question made the TBJ podcast the same day as Kelly Dwyer. Sadly, this was the highlight of my Memorial Day Weekend.

  5. The defensive rotations by OKC was good for 3 quarters but I think they got tired by the 4th quarter. It’s hard to keep up the rotations for a full game with the Spurs passing the ball a lot. Durant was probably pretty tired in the 4th with his high minute count and Stephen Jackson had fresh legs to deny him the ball in the 4th.

Playing good defense against a passing team like the spurs is more tiring than playing good offense.

  6. Analysis is usually good, but today’s was really outstanding. Way to bring it for the conference finals, Tas and J.E.

  7. Anyone else think Ginobili looks a bit like Bronn from Game Of Thrones?
