Growing up, Michael Jordan was literally the coolest, best-dressed, most-successful-at-what-he-does person on Earth. Now he is the owner of the team with the worst winning percentage in NBA history, inspiration for millions of dad jeans jokes and guy who has dance-offs in the club for a friend’s birthday.

From the New York Post:

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan surprised his former teammate Scottie Pippen for Pippen’s 47th birthday party Monday night. Pippen’s wife, Larsa, planned the secret bash at Chicago hot spot Sunda. [...] Sources told us the fun night ended with a dance-off between Jordan and Pippen to the Trey Songz and Fabolous song, “Say Ahh.”

Growing up as a Bulls fan, I always wanted to see Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen go one-on-one — since Pippen was the theoretically ideal defender to go up against Jordan, it would have been great — but not like this. Not ever like this. I would still pay $60 to watch this on pay-per-view, but still. Goodbye forever, childhood.

At least it wasn’t “Throw It in the Bag.”
