We talked about this on today’s episode of The Fix but you have to see just how angry Jerry Stackhouse gets about this blown call. There’s literally no reason this is a jump ball, so I understand Jerry protesting the tip by not jumping, but Carmelo is lucky that his giggles didn’t get him the Kirk Snyder treatment from Ol’ JerBear. He’s not a man to be trifled with.

  1. In it’s attempt at not lying the ball moved towards the baseline for an out of bounds after the tip only to realize that the right call would have awarded it to the Knicks anyways.

  2. looks like stackhouse’s fast twitch muscle could be measured with a sundial. dude didn’t protest by not jumping, the ref threw the ball and it was too quick for stack to react in time.

  3. Agree with Brandon, I don’t think he was protesting, he just wasn’t ready. It looked like Stack’s initial plea for a foul call is what drew the jump ball anyway. He should have just caught the ball and kept playing.

  4. “but Carmelo is lucky that his giggles didn’t get him the Kirk Snyder treatment from Ol’ JerBear.”
