Even though there are apparently a bunch of Chinese celebrities in this ad, I like it just fine while only knowing who Yi Jianlian and Kobe Bryant are (and virtual Kevin Durant, but pixels aren’t people). It’s like one-half of that future Nike ad from a year ago, combined with Michael Jordan explaining how hard work is what made him the best ever, then subtitled. Which is to say, very fun.

  1. This is reasonable.

  2. I didn’t see Janlian at all.

  3. Fake. It shows Kobe passing the ball. Nice try, Nike.

  4. Steve Reich always gets the crowds pumped up…

  5. this is weird kobe, virtual durant and a kendrick lamar song in a chinese nike ad?

  6. Although the convenience of email cannot be denied, the act of receiving and reading a snailmail letter is by far the better experience. So kudos to you!
I understand that the letters are not personalized, but are they physically signed by the sender? That would be such a pleasant touch and just one for which I’d gladly pay more. Perhaps the sender could sign a small percentage, so that a randomly chosen few just about every week would have a little extra thrill. That possibility would absolutely make my heart race a bit faster as I tore open the envelope!
