  1. In the past 24 hours for Canada it was Rob Ford’s birthday, Heat fans declare their love for Nickelback and Rudy Gay was on First Take where they kept asking him if Memphis shouldnt have traded him. I hope for game 5 there is a heat fan that will bring a movie poster of “Steel” and wave it behind Shaq.

  2. Speaking of officiating… I thought the refs missed an obvious double dribble when Wade had the steal-into-fastbreak sequence in the 4th.

He dribbled it twice after poking it away, then grabbed it, then dribbled again before getting fouled on the layup. Nobody noticed that?

  3. You wanna go WHERE?
    to crabs
    to grapes
    to crayps
is there a restaurant only selling a certain fruit or just seashell animals?!?!?
what the pancake are you talking about?????

  4. Both Skeets and Leigh are right about Clifford. He was small for a puppy but because of the love of his owner he grew gigantic. This is the intro for the Clifford TV series.

    • thank you for clarifying this important point. For shame TBJ! I think hes only a wee pup in the baby/toddler books. All of the actual Clifford literature features a big red dog.

  5. Oasis is the British Nickelback. They do suck.

    Nice call JD.

  6. Lance Stephenson is a boss totally fearless driving through the heat.

Indy could actually win this series if Joey Crawford keeps this up!

  7. How did you miss naming this episode “Look At This Pendergraph”?

  8. I literally said “whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat” in a high-pitched voice to myself when JD compared oasis to nickelback…
I mean, I guess you mean they make sing-along-y, pop-rock-y tunes that all sound the same, since you were hesitant to judge them and therefore don’t base your comparison on a mere “bands that suck” standpoint – but still, this feels like a random and very superficial comparison. from that point of view, nickelback (ugh that name) are also the aughts version of nirvana or pearl jam, and also then the who and led zeppelin are the same band as well. if you feel like you want to kill me now for basically comparing Them Who Shall Not Be Named Again to the who: I wasn’t the one who started randomly comparing bands so what the fuck man! how can you even mention oasis and wickelwack in the same context! oasis were (and, in some context, still are) a ‘cool’ band with a pretty big influence on the music scene, which the aforementioned never came close to being. so even though I see your point (I guess), comparing them is like comparing your beloved Breaking Bad to the Die Hard movies.

  9. Here’s a team name idea: “The Quizticles!” As in, “if you think our quizticles are too hard, you should check out our…” Anyway, you get the idea.

  10. heat fans love nickelback

  11. Just because the Heat lost people are focusing on the calls that went against them in the last few minutes. The rest of the game the Pacers got the crappy calls (See that ridiculous 24 second call that turned the momentum in the early 4th). Thanks for mentioning it Skeets. It would have been a double digit lead if that play had gone the correct way.

    • totally agree with you, when the shotclock thing happened i was like “This is Kings – Lakers from 2002 all over again” …

  12. While I was at university, Theory of Dead Man played a show, and as a frosh I received free tickets in my frosh kit. During the show, people near stage proudly held up a sign that read “We (heart) Nickelback!” Thought it was a funny story.

  13. and Matt, please stop bringing up the conspiracie talk, you’re making fun out of yourself

  14. no mention of that guy that smacked Beyonce’s ass?
Should have garnered at least an honourable mention, Leigh…..

  15. What’s the hardest thing about being a Nickelback fan?

    Telling your parents you’re gay.

  16. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

  17. JD is right about Oasis, their songs do sound the same, which must be a disappointment for them as they wanted to sound like the beatles.
