“If they want to put an opera of all my charges on there or flops or whatever, go for it.”Shane Battier, literally getting what he asked for

  1. And if he stood his ground like a tough guy, the refs would not have called them…

    • I definitely see your point. Basketball (or sports in general) have nothing to do with how you play, or dignity. You have to win. Respect is for losers.

    • That’s not the point. What if every player did this all the time? I could never watch a game. “You have to win”, oh right, so go ahead and cheat. Completely remove the true spirit of competition and turn it into cirque de soleil because “you have to win”. Selling a call once in a while to get the refs attention is one thing, flailing around the court like you have epilepsy is another. I hope they start pushing harsher fines and suspensions for it.

  2. This is so great.

  3. That’s the same 4 plays from different angles and the count them up to 15? Wow well played Sir’s!

  4. Stupid. Media over doing it with this so are people who just don’t like the heat. Every single team does this every player in the league has done this. Plus some of those are not flops. For instance Stevenson running him over when that screen was set. This whole thing is pathetic. Has nothing to do with basketball looks like the pacers got what they want. If ya can’t beat em cry about it and start this tmz crap.

  5. I’m not a hater but there gotta be better ones out there? Not saying Shane dont flop cuz he the Flop King (next to Manu anyway), not saying the idea aint funny cuz it is, but shoot… those aint the best examples. Some of em aint flops, some of em aint fouls, some of em werent even CALLED… I dunno. Music funny tho. Better luck next time, gents!

  6. A lot of those were offensive fouls anyway.

  7. What a cheating piece of shit! No respect for this ugly “too much of a hairline” fuck face

  8. A flop is a flop regardless of the call and most of those were blatant flops. Talk about integrity of the game. Isnt he an important figure in the Players Union to? A lot of those are actually sad to watch, still funny, but sad.

  9. It would be nice if the floor attendants immediately ran out and started pulling red silk from underneath his body while it lay crumpled on the court.

  10. Never liked Battier, but I still don’t think he can top Chris Paul as the greatest flopper…

  11. If Shane Battier’s lasted just over two and a half minutes, imagine the length of a “masterpiece” featuring Bill Laimbeer’s career of flops. Then, play his series of hard fouls to Mars, the Bringer of War from Gustav Holst’s The Planets suite.
