A great day of college hoops continued on Sunday night with No. 13 La Salle edging No. 12 Ole Miss in another West Region thriller.
After renowned chucker Marashall Henderson bricked another jumper and Ole Miss turned the ball over on a shot-clock violation, the Explorers got the ball with the shot-clock turned off, opening the door for some Tyrone Garland heroics.
The only way that ending would have been more fitting is if it was Henderson who launched the failed full court heave at the buzzer for Ole Miss.
Next up for La Salle, who if you recall was one of the last four invited to the tournament, is an unlikely Sweet 16 matchup with No. 9 Wichita State. Throw the brackets out the window for that one and just enjoy the game, because it should be an entertaining one.
Speaking of entertaining…
